About Me
Founder of Beautyspan | Creator of Promise Plaits
My name is Marisa, and I am a Faith-led Spiritual Formation and Direction Coach, workshop facilitator, certified natural hair practitioner and design-trained educator living in Bedfordshire, UK.
At the heart of all I do is a deep passion for true beauty cultivation - beauty that is not manufactured or performative, but purposeful, grounded and sacred. I believe beauty begins within: shaped by virtue, guided by intention and expressed with peace and presence.
With a background in design, wellness and education, my work blends artistry with spiritual depth. As a Spiritual Formation Coach, I guide others in returning to themselves and to the Most High — helping them align with identity, order and purpose.
My natural hair practice led me to create Promise Plaits, a sacred styling experience rooted in reverence, refinement and responsibility. This offering, alongside my teaching and wellness work, is part of a greater vision: Beautyspan - a space where beauty spans both body and spirit, where the pursuit of elegance is also a pursuit of character.
Whether through styling, teaching, or quiet spiritual direction, my work exists to remind others that when we wear beauty, we carry responsibility - And when we reflect beauty with integrity, we become light for all others to see.
